Goal Setting and Prioritizing in Your Job Search
September 4, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
A licensed social worker and a career counselor will be facilitating this bi-weekly topical small group with a 30-minute presentation introducing the subject and informing the group, followed by a brief assessment exercise, group discussion and feedback. Our work adds structure to our lives. Loss of a job results in loss of structure. It is up to the job seeker to create the structure, set the goals, measure progress, and set priorities in the job search and the rest of life. This session will offer techniques and exercises to help clients add back the structure needed to feel productive, set priorities and meet goals.
