JFCS Youth Services

Supporting youth and young adults to achieve their goals and secure a strong future.

Mental health support

We provide mental health support to youth in the community, including therapy, brief support, peer mentoring, and support groups. This helps young people cope with every day stress and anxiety and improves their overall mental health and well-being. Beyond the youth in our community, this includes providing parenting support, counseling, and other services to families in need.

Many young people in Pittsburgh face barriers to employment and career advancement, including lack of access to education, limited job opportunities, and discrimination. We focus on providing career development programs, including job training, apprenticeships, internships, and mentorship programs.

Give the Gift of Hope to Those in Need

Without the financial support of our donors, and the time and talents of volunteers, the work of JFCS would not be possible. We can’t do it without you.
