Lunar New Year Celebration

Third Annual Lunar New Year celebration! Entertainers – dancers, drummers, martial artists and more – will help us kick off the Year of the Earth Dog. Earth Dog year is a time for honesty, fairness, and cultivation of integrity of character. The Chinese regard it as an auspicious animal. If a dog happens to come to a house, it symbolizes the coming of fortune. Lunar New Year has become one of Squirrel Hill’s signature events, and a bright symbol of the rich Asian cultures in our community.
