Tomorrow, JF&CS’s Annual Meeting celebrates the service of volunteers

JF&CS’s Annual Meeting will be held tomorrowThursday, May 21st–at 6:30 p.m. at Rodef Shalom Congregation (4905 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15213).

Beginning with a reception (kosher dietary laws observed) at 6:30 p.m., the evening’s program will feature a short documentary-style video highlighting the service of volunteers from key areas, including the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry, Career Development Center, our refugee resettlement program and the AgeWell Rides senior transportation program, as well as a JF&CS board member.

Additionally, the JF&CS board governance committee will present the annual Dr. Howard A. Mermelstein Leadership Award to current board member Paul Dubner. In his role as a board member, Paul has demonstrated strong leadership, commitment to the community, as well as dedication to the mission of JF&CS. The meeting will also include reports from Board President Wendy Mars, Ph.D. and President & CEO Aryeh Sherman.
