Mental Health Support Services

We're helping young people build the skills and resilience needed to overcome mental health challenges and thrive! With our range of services and resources, including UpStreet Pittsburgh, we're here to support our community’s youth every step of the way.

Through UpStreet Pittsburgh, we offer brief support chats as a way for teens to get quick help from a therapist or counselor. They can talk about whatever is on their mind, and they don’t have to worry about scheduling an appointment or committing to a long-term therapy relationship.

How We Help
The chats are available on the UpStreet Pittsburgh website. They are staffed by licensed therapists and counselors who are trained to help teens with a variety of issues, including:

Anxiety
Depression
Stress
Coping with loss
Relationships
Bullying

The chats are free and confidential, and they are a great way for teens to get the support they need when they need it.

UpStreet Pittsburgh Peer Mentoring works by connecting teens with trained peer mentors who can offer support, advice, and guidance. The mentors are teens themselves who have been through similar experiences, and they can provide a safe and non-judgmental space for teens to talk about what they’re going through.

How We Help
The mentors are available through text, and they can help teens with a variety of issues, including:

Anxiety
Depression
Stress
Coping with loss
Relationships
Bullying

The mentors are also able to help teens find resources and support, and they can connect them with professional help if needed.

UpStreet Pittsburgh Peer Mentoring is a free and confidential service, and it is a great way for teens to get the support they need.
