September is Hunger Action Month!

JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry recognizes that millions of people face food insecurity. During this month, we want to pledge to help end hunger!
Taking little steps can make a big impact. Hunger is an issue in America, so sharing and learning about it on platforms help. Fundraising or even holding a food drive can go a long way in supporting our food pantry. Voicing opinions to your local representative can help too!

If you would like to learn more about engaging with your local representative/senator please contact: trodgers@jfcspgh.org or call (412) 586-37767

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service, the levels of food insecurity during the 2020 pandemic had over 38 million Americans struggling against hunger. As communities recover, they need reliable support so that every family has the nutritious food they need. We want everyone to know that no one should go hungry, make the pledge today!
