Pump up your mental wellness power

The summer edition of Squirrel Hill Magazine featured an article by our own Ellie Eisenstat, Cognitive Enhancement program coordinator for Squirrel Hill Psychological Services.

In Mental Well-Being – The Four Pillars of  Wellness, Eisenstat discusses four key elements to achieving mental wellness.  Stress reduction, diet and nutrition, physical activity, and mental stimulation all play important roles in the preservation of our mental
abilities.  She includes helpful examples for each element that gives readers a good place to start.
