Beth Samuel Jewish Center invited our Program Assistant, Arielle Kroser, to join their Friday night services and give a short presentation on the JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry. The congregation occasionally plans a themed Friday night Shabbat and on Friday, March 15th, 2019, the theme was “Food Festival” night. They started with a potluck dinner, followed by a beautiful and musical Friday night service with Cantor Rena Shapiro. It ended with even more food; the congregation hosted a food drive and donated a box of food to the Food Pantry.
