Therapeutic Puppetry

Join JFCS Psychotherapist Angelica Joy Miskanin and Orin James, Biology Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Bradford, for an interactive workshop on therapeutic puppetry.
This is a hands-on workshop with a focus on creating puppets that represent the strength we use to get through the hard times. We will be using a variety of materials to create our puppets and will discuss what their qualities represent.
The event will be held both in person and on Zoom!

*We will provide materials to make your puppets to those attending in person
Shopping list for virtual attendees:
- 20 pieces of heavy card stock or construction paper
- 20 pieces of white or black printer paper
- Scissors
- 20 paper clips or round head fasteners
- Spool of thread
- 5 ft string or yarn
- Watercolor paints or colored pens and markers
