Film Screening – Repairing the World: Stories from the Tree of Life

Pittsburgh’s JFilm Festival is back — both in person and online! And JFCS staff, clients, friends, family, and supporters can enjoy a $2 discount by using the JFCSJF22 discount code!

This year’s festival will run April 28 – May 8 at the AMC Waterfront theater and online at FilmPittsburgh.org. Along with 18 incredible films, they’ll also have filmmaker Q&A’s, the chance to discuss select films with fellow festival goers at our classic (virtual) Film Schmoozes, and other fun. They will host 3 in-person screenings. The rest of the movies will be available to watch online, April 29 – May 8. Tickets go on sale TODAY – April 7 at www.filmpittsburgh.org.

The CENTERPIECE FILM is the World Premiere of REPAIRING THE WORLD: STORIES FROM THE TREE OF LIFE which will screen in-person at the AMC Waterfront on Thursday, May 5. This powerful documentary tells the stories of survivors, family members, and Pittsburghers who united to show what it means to be “stronger than hate.” This screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Patrice O’Neill, and participants in the film.
