Special Needs Services provides support and practical help from infancy through adulthood. We'll work with you to identify your needs and then guide you through the process of connecting with a wide range of resources.

How We Help

  • Learn how to ask the right questions.
  • Discover how to make sense of and utilize information and resources.
  • Get advice on social and recreational activities, medical and mental health services, state and federal assistance, private and public school policies, employment opportunities for special need adults and more

Meet the People We Help

  • It was time for 6-year-old Zachary—who is autistic—to begin kindergarten, but his parents didn’t know his legal rights when it came to education and how to ensure he received the extra support he needs at school.

  • After their parents died, it fell upon Craig’s siblings to care for their 31-year-old schizophrenic brother, who kept ending up homeless or in jail when he stopped taking his medication. But they didn’t know where to turn for support until someone referred them to JF&CS.
