ElderAlert
Falls are the greatest threats to independent living. In fact, several studies indicate that one in three people aged 65 or older living in the community fall at least once a year, causing moderate to severe injuries such as bruises, hip fractures or head traumas. The proportion of individuals falling increases to one in two for those over 80 years of age. Among older adults, falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths.
That’s why JF&CS offers the ElderAlert emergency response system: so you can feel secure in your own home knowing that if you ever need emergency assistance, help is available at the press of a button.
ElderAlert Features:

How We Help
- Trained technicians install the ElderAlert sytem and instruct you on how to use it.
- Our local response center, Automated Security Alert, provides monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- If you ever need emergency assistance, from anywhere in your home, simply press the medical alert button. A signal is sent immediately to the response center and, within moments, a response center operator will contact you through the system to ensure everything is okay. If you tell them that you need help..or if no contact is made...the operator will access your emergency contact information and notify local emergency personnel and family or friends whom you have requested be contacted in case of emergency. The line will then be kept open until help has arrived.
