Critical Needs

If you are overwhelmed with financial and other issues, you can turn to JF&CS for help.

We'll make sure we understand the challenges you're facing, and come up with a plan of action that will help you meet them. There are numerous community resources available to ease your burden, both within Jewish Family & Children's Service and elsewhere, and we will work with you to identify the resources you need and coordinate access to them. We will first deal together with the most critical, immediate problems, but will also work with you to figure out what's needed to improve things for yourself and your family in the long-term.

Emergency Assistance

You can turn to JF&CS for emergency assistance during a crisis. We will work with you to understand your situation, identify solutions and help you access them. Emergency food is available through JF&CS's Squirrel Hill Food Pantry and financial assistance from multiple community resources as well as our SOS Pittsburgh Fund which is administered by JF&CS's Squirrel Hill Food Pantry.
